carved in high relief with a scholar and two attendants crossing a bridge on their way to a retreat beneath pine trees in a rocky landscape, the reverse with two deer on a rocky ledge beneath pine trees, the stone of a deep blue colour with white and gold inclusions, wood stand

Condition
The boulder is in good condition with the exception of some nibbles to the edges of the base and two small areas of rubbing to one pine tree trunk and some protruding rockwork on the rear of the carving.
