the Luohan carved standing with one foot resting atop a recumbent scaly dragon, wearing a long sleeved robe falling in folds around his arms and legs, holding a staff supporting his shoe in his left hand and a string of beads in his right, his face with large bulbous eyes and curly eyebrows, moustache and beard, all supported on a pierced oval rockwork base, the ivory patinated to a warm honey tone

Condition
The carving is in good condition with the exception of two grey age lines to the head and three vertical hairline cracks running the full height of the base.
