the shallow rising sides, rising to an everted rim, painted to the interior with a lively five-claw iron-red dragon writhing above breaking waves within a double line border repeated at the rim, the exterior with nine similar dragons above breaking waves, the base inscribed in underglaze blue with a seal mark

The dish is in very good condition with the exception of light glaze scratches.
