the deep rounded sides resting on a straight foot, moulded to the exterior with large peony blooms borne on undulating leafy scrolls below a foliate band, the foot incised with a keyfret band, the interior incised with a leafy peony spray, encircled by further peony scrolls below a keyfret border, the base inscribed with a seal mark in underglaze blue
