the U-shaped body rising from a short spreading foot to an everted rim, painted to the exterior in bright cobalt-blue tones depicting a continuous river landscape with a pair of scholars in conversation on a river bank, the base with a four-character mark in underglaze blue

Condition

The cup is in very good condition with the exception of some very minor glaze scratches.
