Description

the figure seated in dhyanasana on a double-lotus base, the principle hands in namaskaramudra, the secondary hands holding a flower and a bhodi bead, the serene face bearing a compassionate expression with eyes cast downwards, the hair neatly drawn up in a chignon under a five-pointed diadem surmounted by the head of Amitabha, the long pendulous ears suspending large earrings, wearing elaborate inlaid beaded jewellery, a patterned shawl, flowing dhoti and a billowing celestial scarf around his shoulders and arms falling to the base

Condition

This figure is in good condition, but the topknot has become slightly loose and the front section base plate has slightly bent open. One or two of the inlaid stones are missing to the pendant crown and body.
