Catalogue Note

Sarah Brown was born in 1806 in Bridgewater, New York. She married Oliver Babcock (1806-1870), a farmer, in 1830. In 1850, the couple was listed in the 1850 census in Bridgewater, along with their children: Mary, Sophronia, George, and Charles, and with a servant and two farm hands.
