the backs worked with needlework coat of arms, one with King's Own Scottish Borderers badge, dated 1945 monogrammed J.B.H (?), the other with the Lion Rampant of Scotland

Condition

In country house condition, the upholstery worn, would benefit from a deep clean, and it has several areas of rubbing and losses, there are tears to the back; one chair lacking a rear stretcher. Generally both chairs with signs of restoration, with chips, marks and scratches throughout and would benefit from professional attention. Joints loose. Decorative.
