Condition

This charming plaque is in overall reasonable condition with some chips to corners and light scratching to surface, as visible in the catalogue photographs. The main side has some variation to the surface finish due to handling. the portrait has some rubbing to gilding. There are minor chips to lacquer to edges of reverse. The gold lacquer of the reverse is in good condition with a minor scratch to eagle, although without loss of gilding. There is a small area of pitting by the inscription. Some dirt around edges of back.
