  • Executed circa 1740.

Condition

Very decorative. Re-silvered. Tops have been sanded with old worm damage in evidence to both. Repair to one bracket to the right side. Some filler. Later drilled screw holes below the shaped shelf of each. Losses and chips to detail and decoration. Chips and age cracks throughout consistent with age, use and method of wall fixing. A dramatic an unusual pair of brackets.
