Description

  • Bellows
  • wood and leather, with a brass nozzle
  • height: 40cm., 15¾ in.
each side set with tortoiseshell plaques inlaid with ivory split-palmette design

Condition

Mounted on wooden stand, the leather appears to be worn although not completely visible as the handles are tied together by a leather string. The condition of the bellows appears to suggest that it is a later object and that the inlay sides were potentially done at a later date, as viewed.
