Chips and losses to carving notably to shell cresting, bell flowers and acanthus apron; signs of old restorations, consolidation of old damage. left side of frame has a later filet of restoration, marks and scratches consistent with age and use. Plate probably associated as this may have been a picture frame. Despite 'Country House' condition this is nice quality and decorative.
