hinged cover with brass lock and side-plaques, interior and underside painted dark red

Condition

The exterior in good condition, very minor sections of lac chipped, few replacements to mother of pearl decoration, the lock not functional (purely decorative), the interior with visible wood-worm damage, particularly to cover, some wood worm damage to unerside, set in custom plexi-covered mount and wood base, as viewed.
