Condition

This charming mirror is in overall good conserved condition. There are minor repaired breaks to carving and a small loss to tip of one leaf to crest. There are marks and scratches consistent with age and use. The silvering is not original and it is possible that it was conceive as gilt and not silvered as ther are some residue of former gilding. The mirror silvering backing is quite worn and with foxing and with major losses namely to the upper left side and bottom right side.
