  • one of the putti bearing an escutcheon monogrammed: G R, possibly for George I.

Condition

Overall, the condition of the wood is good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. The relief is composed in two principal sections and the joint is visible through the legs of the putti. One of the legs of the chair of the table is lost. There are a few minor chips to the relief. There is evidence of minor non-active worming consistent with the material.
