Condition

Executed on cream laid paper, not laid down, affixed to paper at two points to the centre of right and left edges. There are clusters of artist pinholes to all four corners. There is a partly repaired (approx. 3 cm long) tear to the centre of the upper edge and a smaller repaired (approx. 1 cm long) tear to the right of the upper edge. There is a small repaired hole to the upper part of the right edge and 4 additional smaller repaired holes to the upper part of the composition, predominately along the extreme edges and 8 repaired small holes to the lower part of the composition. It has not been possible to fully unframe the work in order to examine the central part of the verso. There are some scattered flecks of foxing. This work is in good and stable condition.
