Catalogue Note

Although modeled between 1836 and 1840, this model was first cast in 1857. It is a second version of Charles VII, in which the young king does not wear his laurel crown (See Michel Poletti, Alain Richarme, n° F7). Charles VII (1403-1461) is depicted in his youth, before his 1429 coronation in Reims.
