Condition

Executed on cream wove paper, laid down on canvas. There are a few spots of paint losses in places, predominately to the centre of the upper edge, a few dots in the sky and to the lower part of the green pigment. There is a small area of craquelure with associated minor paint losses to the lower right quadrant (approx. 14cm from right edge and 11cm from lower edge). There is a small line of surface abrasion to the signature lower right and a few strokes of minor abrasion to the upper right quadrant. There is a fly spot towards the centre of the right edge. Examination under UV light reveals a small area (approx. 4 cm long) of retouching to the upper part of the left edge. This work is in good stable condition.
