  • 14.9cm., 5 7/8 in. high
urn form with demi-fluted body, the fluted cover with orb finial, bifurcated handles, on a square pedestal foot, 16.5cm., 6 1/2 in. high; together with another Maltese silver sugar bowl, Roberto Cannataci Falzon, circa 1860, urn form, embossed with a band of foliage between classical masks above fluting, leaf-capped scroll handles, the domed cover with stylised foliate finial

Condition

The first example of very nice gauge with good clear marks to the rim of the foot. Good condition. The second with clear marks to the foot rim. Small patch the embossed section of the body (visible inside). The finial is loose and the cover is generally a bit bruised.
