- the écuelle 25.8cm., 10 1/8 in. across handles, the stand 22.6cm., 8 7/8 in. diam.
of circular form applied with two pierced scrollwork handles, the cover surmounted with an artichoke finial, each piece painted with a bird perched on a large branch, flanked by flowering branches issuing from stylised rockwork, with scattered winged insects, crossed swords marks in underglaze-blue,

Condition
The ecuelle has a very minor shallow chip to the top of the rim and two small chips to the outside of the footrim.Minor nicks around the top of the artichoke finial. The stand with some wear to enamels.
