Label: 150th Anniversary
76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot. This was the last vintage of Patrick Léon, with Philippe Dhalluin coming in for the 'élevage'. In 2015, a very perfumed, very exotic, very come-hither nose. Tobacco, caramel and cooked red and black fruits. Such fruit freshness on the palate. Just so fabulously juicy. Great length of chocolate-covered berries and so opulent and delicious you could spread it on toast! Serena Sutcliffe, MW
