Of foliate design, set with variously-cut peridots and pavé-set round diamonds, the brooch suspending three peridot briolettes, each signed Valentin Magro.

Condition

In excellent condition. Each earclip and the brooch signed Valentin Magro, earclips stamped 18K for 18 karat gold and plat. for platinum, brooch stamped 750 for 18 karat two-color gold. Cushion-cut peridots on earclips weighing approximately 6.00 carats each, oval peridot on brooch weighing approximately 3.10 carat, largest peridot briolette measuring approximately 17.05 x 11.80 x 6.95 mm, peridots are well-matched in color, a medium yellowish green, eye-clean. The diamonds weighing a total of approximately 4.75 carats (the brooch with 3.00 carats, the earclips with 1.75 carats), are approximately G-H color, predominantly VVS-VS clarity, a few SI clarity, one diamond on the brooch with a chip visible under 10x magnification. The earclips measuring approximately 1⅜ x 1⅛ inches each, the brooch measuring 2⅞ x 2 inches. Gross weight of brooch approximately 21 dwts, earclips approximately 18 dwts.
