The necklace composed of 20 fluted amethyst beads alternating with hammered gold rondelles, length 18 inches, signed Zolotas; with earclips of similar design, signed Zolotas.
Condition
In good condition, with minor signs of wear to the mounting. Necklace and both earclips signed Zolotas and stamped K22 for 22 karat gold. Also stamped A24 with a preceding letter which cannot be distinguished. The amethyst beads on the necklace measuring from 27.5 x 20.0 to 21.5 x 14.0 mm, the amethysts on the earclips measuring 25.0 x 16.0 mm. Amethysts are a medium violet color, moderately to heavily included. Necklace clasp closes securely. Necklace bears a nice heft, gross weight approximately 238 dwts. Gross weight of earclips approximately 38 dwts.
