Designed as a parrot, set with round sapphires, the beak embellished with a pear-shaped turquoise cabochon and black lacquer, the eye highlighted with a round ruby, the body and tail accented with yellow and green enamel, gross weight approximately 52 dwts, signed Tiffany & Co. Schlumberger Std., France.

Condition

In very good condition, with no apparent wear to the mounting. Signed Tiffany & Co. Schlumberger Std., France. Inscribed 750 for 18 karat gold. The numerous round sapphires are a medium-deep, violetish blue, eye-clean to slightly included, well-matched. The round ruby is a deep, slightly purplish red, eye-clean. The cabochon turquoise is medium, very slightly greenish blue. The black lacquered beak is in excellent condition. The yellow and green enamel are in very good condition with no signs of damage. Fitted with a safety closure. Gross weight approximately 52 dwts. Length 4⅝ inches. The wing is articulated and has a small range of movement.
