Pair of Emerald and Diamond Earrings

The tops designed as scroll motifs set with round diamonds, suspending two pear-shaped emeralds measuring approximately 22.7 x 12.1 x 8.1 and 22.5 x 12.9 x 8.4 mm, framed by numerous round diamonds; circa 1950.

In good condition, with minor wear to the white gold mounting, commensurate with age. The medium to medium-light emeralds, weighing approximately 12.10 and 13.25 carats, are slightly bluish green, heavily included with some surface-reaching inclusion. There is one cavity to the pavilion of one emerald, presumably made to remove an inclusion, not visible when worn. The diamonds weighing a total of approximately 6.20 carats, are approximately G-J color, VS-SI clarity. Length measuring approximately 2 inches. Fitted with screw-back posts.
