Comprising a pair of earclips composed of polished gold and tiger's eye quartz, together with a necklace composed of alternating tiger's eye quartz beads and textured gold openwork boules, length 30 inches, the earclips signed VCA, numbered 3V600.7, with workshop marks.

Condition

In good overall condition, despite the tiger's eye quartz in one earclip which is significantly chipped on the side, not apparent depending on which ear it is worn. One earclip signed VCA France, and not numbered, the other earclip signed VCA and numbered 3V600.7, both with workshop mark and stamped 18K for 18 karat gold. The necklace is unmarked. The tiger's eye quartz in the earclips and necklace are well-matched for color, brown, with strong chatoyancy. The polish gold surface of the earclips is lightly scratched, with minor indentations visible under close inspection. The necklace is in very good condition, the tiger's eye quartz with good polish luster and gold with little sign of wear. Length approximately 1 inch. Total gross weight of earclips is approximately 21 dwts, the necklace is approximately 98 dwts. Circa 1970s.
