Comprising: a pendent necklace and pair of earrings, the pendant set with a pear-shaped cabochon emerald, cabochon sapphire and brilliant-cut diamond, to a fine link chain, the earrings similarly set, earrings with post fittings, British hallmarks and maker's mark.
Condition
Accompanied by GCS, report no. 5777-9269, stating that the emerald is natural of Zimbabwe (Sandawana) origin with indications of moderate clarity enhancement, weighing approximately 6.55 carats, measuring 16.6 x 9.0 x 7.0mm.
Stamped with British (London) hallmarks indicating 18 carat gold, year mark 2016, maker's mark AG on posts. Pendant stamped with British (London) hallmarks and maker's mark. Neckchain clasp with British (Birmingham) hallmarks and 750 mark.
Emeralds mid green, typical inclusions visible under magnification, some are surface reaching, some light surface scratches. Sapphires are mid blue, typical inclusions visible under magnification, some are surface reaching one stone with fracture, some light surface scratches and small chips. Diamonds are bright an lively, calculated to weigh approximately 0.40-0.50 carats in total, estimated clarity SI, estimated colour I-K. Metal with fine surface scratches. Pendant approximately 38mm, neckchain 410mm and earrings 29mm. Overall condition good.
