Jadeite and diamond ring

Claw-set with an oval cabochon jadeite, within a square and brilliant-cut diamond surround, size R.

Accompanied by GCS, report no. 5776-5581, stating that the jadeite is natural with no indications of impregnation (may also be called A-jade). Jade measuring approximately 13.6 x 9.8 x 4.9. Green, translucent, with typical inclusions visible under magnification, light surface scratches. Stone loose in its mount. Diamonds are bright and lively, calculated to weigh approximately 0.50-0.60 carats, estimated clarity VS, some SI, estimated colour I-K. Metal with surface wear, such as light scratching and some discolouration, some small pits. Ring has been resized, solder lines visible. Overall condition good.
