The front designed as a lion's head set with carved rock crystal supporting a circular-cut diamond, the mane set with brilliant-cut diamonds, the eyes and nose embellished with cabochon rubies, to a mother of pearl and diamond necklace, inner circumference approximately 380mm, signed M&W, French assay and maker's marks.

Condition

Signed M&W, French maker's marks. French assay marks and stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Carved rock crystal in very good condition. Rubies well matched in colour. Grey mother of pearl with good orient, nice skin, rosé and green overtones, in very good condition. Diamonds bright and lively, largest diamond estimated to weigh approximately 0.80 - 1.00 carat. Little signs of wear to the metal. Clasp secure, safety chain. Gross weight approximately 109 grams.
