Of negligée design, the fine-link woven neckchain with adjustable circular-cut sapphire clasp accented with a pair of fish head terminals set with single-cut diamonds, length adjustable, maximum length approximately 850mm, signed Ilias Lalaounis, French assay and maker's mark.
Condition
Stamped with French import assay mark, indicating 18 carat gold, 750 and markers marks on tong. Signed Ilias Lalaounis Greece, numbered A.2 on adjustable clasp, also with markers mark and 750 stamp. Sapphire are dark in colour, some typical visible under magnification, some are surface reaching, causing some fractures. There are surface scratches, rubbed facet edges and small nicks and chips. Diamonds are bright and lively. Emeralds mid green, prominent nicks and some durability issues, inclusion visible under magnification. Gross weight of necklace approximately 173,6 grams.
Some scratches to metal surfaces and some small dents and pits, there are areas of discoloration, some around fish mount and clasps. Clasp opens easily. In good condition.
