Designed as a stylised floral spray, set with brilliant-cut diamonds and oval sapphires, signed G. Veronesi, fitted case stamped Giulio Veronesi.

Condition

Fitting stamped G. VERONESI, 750 mark close to centre on reverse. Sapphires in various light purplish blue to velvet blue colour. Typical inclusions visible under magnification, colour zoning. Some small chips and nicks, rubbed facet edges and some surface scratches. Facets on pavilion edges rubbed and chipped. Largest sapphire measuring approximately 12.6 x 9.6 x 8.0, calculated to weigh approximately 7.50-8.00 carats. Diamonds are bright and lively, estimated clarity SI on average. Metal with light surface wear, such as scratches, small dents and very small areas of discolouration. Prong fitting in good working order. Gross weight 71.0 grams. Length approximately 86mm. Overall condition good.
