Comprising: a bracelet, brooch and pair of ear studs; the bracelet designed as a series of baton-shaped links, to enamel blackamoore head terminals, the central line set with oval garnets; together with a matching brooch and pair of ear studs; bracelet approximately 220mm, ear studs with post and butterfly fittings.
Condition
Stamped with French assay mark for 14 carat gold on bracelet tongue, on brooch fitting and on pins of earrings. Garnets orange-red, some pinkish red, transparent, with typical inclusions visible under magnification, small chips and nicks, some chips are more prominent than others, some surface scratches and rubbed facet edges. There is loss to enamel throughout and small chips. Metal with normal signs of wear, scratching and some light discolouration throughout. Brooch pin with some play, clasp of bracelet needs a slight push to close, closes securely. Some solder visible to reverse on earrings. Brooch measuring 44mm, ear studs 16mm. Overall condition good, commensurate with age.
