Of rectangular shape, the polished hinged nephrite box with fan-shaped clasp and hinges, measuring approximately 93 x 56 x 23mm, signed Cartier, French assay and maker's marks.

Condition

Front hinge signed Cartier to reverse, French assay marks indicating 18 carat gold and maker's mark. The other two hinges with French assay marks. Nephrite deep green, dark and lighter mottling, very fine surface scratches. Metal with surface scratches. Hinges in good working order, closes securely. Overall condition good.
