Description

Designed as a rose of carved bowenite, the sepals set with single-cut diamonds, the leaves of carved nephrite, Austrian assay and partial maker's marks.

 

Condition

Austrian assay mark, stamped 750 for 18 carat gold and maker's mark JH to pin fittings. Bowenite pale green, translucent, with characteristic striations, nephrite mid green, translucent, with characteristic darker mottling. Areas of minor chipping to carved edges of rose. Diamonds bright and lively. Light scratches to stone and metal surfaces consistent with wear. Pin fitting intact, clasp very stiff. In good condition. Length approximately 100mm.
