Emerald and diamond ring

Claw-set with a step-cut emerald weighing 5.94 carats between shoulders set with heart-shaped diamonds, size J^1/2.

Accompanied by Gübelin report no. 17040041, dated 13th April 2017, stating that the emerald is of Colombian origin with indications of minor clarity enhancement, measuring approximately 12.27 x 11.78 x 6.26mm, weighing approximately 5.94 carats. Emerald mid-green in colour, good saturation, transparent, with typical inclusions visible to the naked eye, numerous surface reaching inclusions, chips to facets and girdle, chips on pavilion, some more prominent especially around girdle. Diamonds estimated clarity approximately SI2/3, colour difficult to gauge due to mount, stones are bright and lively. One diamond is slightly loose in its mount. Light scratches to metal surface and small pits. In good condition.
