Yellow sapphire and diamond ring

Set with a cushion-shaped yellow sapphire, within a millegrain single-cut diamond frame, size N^½.

Accompanied by certificate from the Netherlands Gemmological Laboratory (Nederlands Edelsteen Laboratorium), report no. E 17188, stating that the yellow sapphire shows no indications of heating. Measuring 17.58 x 14.19 x 10.33mm, weight 24.44 carats. Stamped PLAT and 18CT for platinum and 18 carat gold to interior of shank. Yellow sapphire light yellow in colour, transparent, with typical minor inclusions visible under magnification, some surface-reaching. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated total diamond weight approximately 0.50 - 0.80 carats. Light scratches to stone and metal surfaces consistent with wear. In good condition.
