The rectangular step-cut sapphire set between brilliant-cut diamonds, size M^1/2.

Sapphire deep blue, transparent, with typical inclusions visible under magnification, some areas of minor chipping and wear to facet edges, measuring approximately 8.1 x 7.1 x 4.2mm, calculated to weigh approximately 2.22 carats. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated colour G-H, estimated clarity VS on average. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 1.20 - 1.50 carats. Light scratches to stone and metal surfaces consistent with wear. In good condition. Accompanied by case, stamped Karl Rothmiller.
