Emerald and diamond brooch

Designed as a bow, claw-set with a step-cut emerald flanked by marquise-shaped diamonds, partial French assay and marker's marks.

Accompanied by CISGEM report no 5725, stating that the emerald is of Colombian origin, with indications of minor clarity enhancements. Brooch pin with partial French assay mark for 18 carat gold, partial maker's mark. Emerald mid green, transparent, with typical inclusions visible to the naked eye, measuring approximately 10.4 x 9.15 x 4.2mm, calculated to weigh approximately 2.77 carats. Light wear to facet edges and some minor chips to girdle of stone. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated total diamond weight approximately 7.50 - 9.50 carats, estimated to be approximately J-K colour, VS2 - SI1 clarity on average. Brooch fitting secure. Light scratches consistent with wear. In good condition.
