Description

  • Diamond/gold/platinum
Comprising: a bar brooch, millegrain- and claw-set with cushion-shaped and circular-cut diamonds; and a ring, claw-set with three cushion-shaped diamonds, the shoulders accented with rose diamonds, size K1/2, French assay and partial maker's marks, one diamond deficient.

Condition

Brooch: Central diamond measuring approximately 6.3 x 5.8 x 3.4, calculated to weigh approximately 0.96 carats, chipped. Remaining diamonds bright and lively, estimated total remaining diamond weight approximately 2.00 - 3.00 carats. Diamonds estimated to be I-J colour, SI-I clarity on average. Overall dimensions approximately 85mm. Pin fitting secure. Ring: French assay mark for platinum and indistinct maker's mark to exterior of shank. Principal diamonds measuring approximately 6.3 x 6.9 x 3.9mm, 5.7 x 6.3 x 4.1mm and 5.6 x 6.4 x 3.6mm, calculated to weigh approximately 1.31, 1.14 and 1.00 carats respectively. Central stone estimated to be approximately J-K colour, SI2 clarity, flanking stones estimated to be approximately H-I colour, VS clarity on average. Remaining diamonds bright and lively, one small diamond deficient. Scratches to metal surfaces consistent with wear. In good condition.
