The dial and surround set with lapis lazuli and tigers's eye to a textured integral band, signed Chaumet, numbered, Swiss assay mark and French import marks.

Condition

Please note that this watch has not been tested for the accuracy of its timekeeping. Sotheby's does not guarantee watch movements, and the watch movement may require servicing at the buyer's expense. Manual winding movement, working at the time of cataloguing. Watch back signed Chaumet, numbred 358B and 50856, with French import assay marks and stamped 750, 18K for 18 carat gold. Maker's mark J C with crescent moon and star for Chaumet. Reverse of watch inscribed 19 Aout 1972, MA, 16H30. Clasp with maker's mark Y, stamped 750 and Swiss made, additional Chaumet maker's marks and French import assay marks. Lapis lazuli deep blue, tiger's eye golden brown. Bracelet well-articulated, clasp secure. Light scratches to stone, metal and glass surfaces consistent with wear. In good condition.
