The notebook of reeded pattern, with its pencil, each signed Cartier, aide-mémoire numbered, French assay and maker's marks; together with a travelling watch of similar pattern, applied with blue enamel, opening to reveal a dial decorated with Roman numerals, dial signed Cartier, numbered.
Condition
Carnet de Bal: French assay marks for 18 carat gold. Both signed Cartier. Numbered 01355. Pencil mechanism in good order. Hinge in good order. Light surface scratches consistent with wear. In good condition.
Travel watch: Please note that it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. Movement is currently running. Spring loaded mechanism slightly sticky on return. Foxing and dust on the dial. Dial signed Cartier. Numbered 05371. Some enamel loss, particularly to one corner. Light surface scratches consistent with wear. In good condition.
