Of cuboid form, the exterior with four bevelled mirror panels with black lacquer borders, the interior with a sliding lipstick holder, measuring approximately 51 x 19 x 19mm, signed Cartier, numbered, French assay and maker's marks, fitted case stamped Cartier.

Condition

French assay marks for 18 carat gold on base and tube of lipstick and base of cover. Signed Cartier Paris, numbered 136 on base of cover. French maker's marks on base and tube of lipstick, Sté L.V. Minor chips and scratches to lacquered surfaces and to edges of bevelled mirror panels. Scratches and areas of discolouration to metal surfaces consistent with age and use. Lipstick intact, lipstick residue to interior. Slider for lipstick deficient. Fitted pouch stamped Cartier. In good condition.
