Of cluster design, claw-set with an oval sapphire within a frame of brilliant-cut diamonds, size M1/2, British hallmarks.

Condition

Accompanied by Gübelin report no. 13050130, stating that the sapphire is of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heat treatment. British hallmark for 18 carat gold, Sheffield on shank. Maker's mark BHF. Sapphire light violet-blue in colour, transparent, with typical inclusions visible under magnification, measuring approximately 15.4 x 11.8 x 9.0mm, calculated to weigh approximately 13.08 carats. Diamonds estimated to be approximately H - I colour, VS - SI clarity on average, estimated total diamond weight approximately 2.00 - 3.00 carats. Light scratches to metal surfaces consistent with wear. In good condition.
