Ruby and diamond ring, Cartier

The top of domed design, set to the centre with a cabochon ruby, surrounded by brilliant-cut and baguette diamonds, the shoulders set with trapeze-, bullet-shaped and single-cut diamonds, size P, signed Cartier, numbered, maker's mark.

Inscribed PT 950 for platinum, maker's mark PSN in lozenge on side of band at shoulder level. Signed Cartier on side of band at shoulder level. Numbered 35010 and 51-30451 on interior of shank. Ruby purplish red, opaque, with typical inclusions visible to the naked eye, some surface-reaching fissures, measuring approximately 17.5 x 14.2 x 8.3mm, calculated to weigh approximately 22.28 carats. Ruby with some light movement in mount. Diamonds estimated to be approximately H-J colour, VVS-VS clarity on average, estimated total diamond weight approximately 9.00 - 11.00 carats. Light scratches to metal and ruby surfaces consistent with wear. In good condition.
