Description

The stylised bird composed of overlaid squared rods bursting into flight and set throughout with circular-cut sapphires and brilliant-cut diamonds, around a cabochon aquamarine body, French assay and maker's marks.

Condition

French assay and maker's marks for 18 carat gold and platinum. Sapphires dark blue and well matched for colour. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated colour G-H and VS clarity on average. Aquamarine of medium blue/green, included typical inclusions visible to the naked eye with minor surface reaching fissures. Scratches to metal consistent with wear. Pins are in good working order. In good condition.
