Emerald and diamond ring

Claw-set with a circular-cut emerald, the shoulders set with shield-shaped diamonds, size I^1/2.

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 86308, stating that the emerald measuring 15.91 x 16.25 x 11.33 weighs 16.909 carats, green of medium strong saturation is of Colombian origin, with indications of moderate amount of oil in fissures. Emerald appears deep dark green in daylight and medium green blue in incandescent light. Minor chips and abrasions to facet edges commensurate with wear, medium clarity with visible characteristic inclusions. Exterior of shank stamped OR750 and pt950 for 18 carat gold and platinum, with interior sizing clip, mount with abrasions commensurate with wear. Overall good condition.
