Description

Comprising: a pair of earrings, each set with a cushion-shaped sapphire, surrounded by marquise-shaped and brilliant-cut diamonds, post fittings; and a ring, similarly set, size S.
Condition
Accompanied by The Gem & Pearl Laboratory report no. 13752, stating that the sapphires were found to be of Thai, East African origin etc. with no indications of heat treatment.
Ring stamped 750 for 18 carat gold, maker's mark on interior of shank. Ear clips each stamped 750 for 18 carat gold on reverse of clip fittings. Sapphires deep blue, transparent, with typical inclusions visible under magnification, sapphire in ring measuring approximately 13.3 x 11.2 x 5.0mm. calculated to weigh approximately 5.96 carats, sapphires in ear clips measuring approximately 11.5 x 8.7 x 6.3mm and 10.7 x 8.2 x 5.9mm, calculated to weigh approximately 5.04 and 4.14 carats respectively. Diamonds estimated to be approximately I - J colour, VS - SI clarity on average, estimated total diamond weight approximately 4.00 - 5.00 carats. Ear clip fittings secure. Light scratches to metal and sapphire surfaces consistent with wear. In good condition.
