Claw-set with a step-cut aquamarine, the shoulders collet-set with baguette diamonds, size M1/2, 1930s.

Condition

Stamped PLAT for platinum. Aquamarine measuring approximately 19.0 x 15.0 x 9.1mm, calculated to weigh approxaimtely 17.57 carats, light blue, transparent, typical inclusions visible to the naked eye, minor chips to girdle and some facet edges, with abrasions to surfaces and facet edges consistent with wear. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 0.20-0.50 carats, diamonds bright and lively. Scratches and tarnish to metal consistent with age and wear. In good condition.
