Emerald and diamond ring

Set with a step-cut emerald stated to weigh 3.84 carats, between shoulders set with baguette diamonds, the mount pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds, size 52^1/2, French assay mark.

French assay mar for 18 carat gold, mounted in yellow gold. Inscribed E 3.84, DB 1.28 and B 1.49, referring to the stated carat weight of the emerald, to the stated total carat weight of the brilliant-cut and baguette diamonds, respectively. Emerald stated to weigh 3.84 carats, measuring approximately 10.91 x 9.16 x 4.92 carats, green, with typical inclusions, scratches, abrasions and nicks. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 2.50 - 3.00 carats, on average G-H colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the yellow gold mount. Minor signs of wear to the metal. In very good condition. Gross weight approximately 7 grams.
