Set with an oval yellow sapphire weighing 50.62 carats, between heart-shaped emerald shoulders, the mount pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds, size 531/2, signed Repossi, Italian assay and maker's marks, sizing band.
Condition
Accompanied by SSEF report no. 96042, stating that the oval sapphire weighing 50.62 carats, measuring 22.74 x 17.31 x 13.03mm, is of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating.
Signed Repossi, Italian assay and maker's marks. French import mark for 18 carat gold. Sapphire light yellow, with good transparency, with minor typical inclusions visible under 10x magnification, abrasions, nicks and small chips to the girdle. For more information on the sapphire, please refer to the SSEF report. Emeralds well matched in colour, green, with typical surface-reaching inclusions. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 4.00 - 4.50 carats, on average H-I colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded within the yellow gold mount. Small scratches to the metal commensurate with light use. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 26 grams.
